Archeo.S International Festival in Ancona

From 28th June to 8th July it will take place in Ancona the Festival Internationale Archeo.s. The scene of the event will be: the Roman Amphiteatre, and the Vanvitelli Stately Building in Ancona; the Pini Place in Sirolo. The Festival will feature International Artists, Authorities and Institutions belonging to the Adriatic Sea Area.

Archeo.S is based on the idea that the countries overlooking on the Adriatic Sea would be attractive poles to enhance tourism, experimenting innovative strategies and new ideas in order to expand this area sustainable development by means of culture. Project’s partners are: Pazin (Croatia),  Igoumenitsa (Greece), Fier (Albania), the Marche Repertory Theatre, the Abruzzo Region, the Apulian Public Theatre (project leader).

The Archeo.S project is therefore a further development strategy consolidation that the Repertory Theatre is proposing on Marche Region territory; they are convinced that culture is a social and an economic development, and a instrument for enhancement and protection heritage.
